Candalaria Families,
Thank you for your partnership in making Candalaria a great place to learn and be. Your attention and support in traffic safety will help continue to make this the case.
If you are driving, please tend to the following traffic safety measures:
- Drive below the speed limit
- Stop at all stop signs and crosswalks, every time.
- Pedestrians always have the right-of-way
- Do not stop in the middle of intersections.
- Always obey our crossing guards
If you are dropping students off from your vehicle:
- Drop them off near the crosswalk and remind them to use the crosswalk
- Do not drop them off in the bus loading / unloading zone.
If you are walking:
- Use the sidewalk at all times
- Only cross the street at the crosswalk, and with the guidance of crossing guards
Families, please talk with your students today about pedestrian and traffic safety. We are partners in our efforts to ensure safety.
